"Hermano Oso" la película de esta semana para terminar el mes de abril

Se trata de una película estrenada en el año 2003. Kenai está a punto de convertirse en adulto y en su tribu es tradición recibir un totem (la figura de un animal tallada en madera) al llegar a la mayoría de edad, sin embargo queda muy decepcionado al ver que recibe un oso, la imagen del amor. Por si esto fuera poco, un oso le roba la cesta del pescado, ya que no la ató bien, así que decide perseguir al oso. Su hermanos Denahi y Sitka, para evitar males mayores le siguen pero desgraciadamente Sitka muere en la lucha contra el oso y Kenai, lleno de rabia, va tras el oso que provocó su muerte para vengar a su hermano.

Al encontrar al oso que había destruido la cesta Kenai lucha contra él y cuando lo mata los espíritus lo transforman en oso como castigo por una muerte innecesaria,esperando que reciba una lección de vida. En ese momento llega Denahi, ve sus ropas rotas y cree que Kenai es el oso que mató a sus hermanos, así que comienza a seguirlo buscando venganza. Tanana, la chamana, le dice a Kenai ya transformado cómo convertirse en humano. Él debe ir donde las luces tocan la tierra y pedirle a los espíritus que lo devuelvan a su forma humana. En su búsqueda encuentra a un osito llamado Koda, y a lo largo de su aventura, (en la que conocen, entre otros animales, a dos alces bastante excéntricos) Kenai aprende el verdadero significado de su tótem.

El autor de la BSO  no es sino el compositor inglés Phill Collins quien musicó la película de "Hermano Oso".
